Dr. Wine is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of adult medical illnesses and conditions. He chose to practice Internal Medicine due to his interest in applying ever-changing medical knowledge, in conjunction with developing an excellent doctor-patient relationship, to achieve optimal preventative health and treatment for senior and adult patients of varying ages.

Dr. Wine's practice experience in North San Diego County most recently was within a large medical organization, but for the majority of his career, he practiced in a private Internal Medicine group. He is a member of the San Diego County Medical Society and the American College of Physicians. Twice in the past, Dr. Wine has received the San Diego County Medical Society Top Doctor Award published in San Diego Magazine.

Dr. Wine received undergraduate degrees in Biology and Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, received his Medical Degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, and then completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles in 1983.
